SPOKE Action! is an advanced, object-oriented framework for quick andeasy creation of an interactive graphical user interface. It maintainsclean separation between the user interface and application code. Quickprototyping is possible with the edit and run modes, and there isportability to other platforms.SPOKE Action! has a rich, interactive object-oriented graphical userinterface tool. On SPARC based workstations it includes the full-featuredSPOKE language. It is a pure object-oriented language which includesclasses, dynamic classes, multiple, inheritance, multiple methoddispatch, relational and functional properties, polymorphism, modularity,exception handling, garbage collection, interpreter/compiler, and Cinterface. The SPOKE environment includes SpokeEnv, which features aninterpreter window and class browser; SpokeDebug, which provides aninteractive object inspector and symbolic debugger; and SpokeWindows,which provides a portable graphical toolkit in C, based on multiplewindowing standards.
